Genius!

Boeing was “go, go, go” to beat Airbus with the 737 Max. The Max, Boeing’s best-selling model, with more than 5,000 orders, is suddenly a reputational hazard. It could be weeks or months.

My God! I just saw this at the After dark film fest in Toronto (And repo! also awesome) and it's such a well made movie. I mean as an action movie, as a comedy, as a story, everything. I hope this gets a wide release in North America.
For those who haven’t seen it, imagine if The Rock and Tony Jaa had their DNA spliced. Now imagine that guy is a bouncer with a terrible past and pursues the life of a vigilante superhero in a world that laughs at him. Throw in a TV reporter, a pedophile ring and a wanna-be sidekick named pseudo-robin who has two bikes.. and you have it, GOLD.
Audience through movie: OHHHHHHHHHHHHHhhhhhh.... UHHHHHHHH! HAHAHA! AWesome...WHOA!....OHhhhH! ....NICE!...ahahahahaha

Re: Genius!

I was part of the audience as well, and it was a great experience. It really is the kind of film that is a joy to watch with other fans in a theater, though I'm sure when the DVD comes out I'll have no problem watching that as well. Make sure you check out Kiltro, which is the teams debut film and pretty fun itself. So far Mirageman is the best of the fest (though tonight's 4bia was pretty damned awesome too)

Re: Genius!

I was aldo in attendance at the TADFF screening...
**minor spoiler - it was also in the trailer**
...the best part was when Mirageman kicks a criminal and then subsequently felt the need to do a back flip...haha...genius!

My dvd was shipped out 24th September. I got it and saw it yesterday. I think it had some good fight scenes. This is an action packed film compared to the poorer Kiltro in my opinion. It has many fight scenes. Marko actually hit and kicked the bad guys for real in this film. The only problem was, it was nearly all the times too difficult to see that. The camera angel`s could have been better. As could the editing. I think they did too much of this quick cut editing.
I think Marko actualy punched to fast in some of the fights. He punched so fast i couldn`t see them. I think they should have told him to slow down, so the viewers could actually see the punches. I didn`t like the sound effect`s they used for the punches. I think it literally lacked punch and bass. Other than that, it was good. I really liked the reporter in this film named Carol Valdivieso. I was just glued to screen everytime she appeared. I love those fine dark brown eyes. What a looker!. But, one thing i didn`t like was that she dyed her hair blond later in the film. I think she looked best with brown hair. So, if you was disappointed like me after watching Kiltro, you will be more happy to watch this film. As said, many more fights than Kiltro.

Re: Genius!

I totally enjoyed this film. It had a spot-on solid and satisfying blend of action, drama, and humor.
You've seen Guy Standeven in something since the man was in everything.
